- 2004 - Ningbo Freeman Racing wheels INC was founded.
- 2009 - Freeman became the biggest wheel supplier to YST company

- 2024 - Freeman new plant covering 100,000 ㎡ was built, with an annual output exceeding 200,000 units.
Every story starts somewhere.
For Jim and Alex, both classic car enthusiasts, the journey began with a shared frustration. Despite collecting numerous classic cars, they could never find the perfect wheels to meet their exacting standards. This was a common challenge among fellow classic car and modification enthusiasts. In 2004, driven by this need, they decided to start their own forged wheel manufacturing plant. And so, the story of FREEMAN began.

Freeman began as a small forging wheel processing plant with just 3 CNC machines. Today, we have expanded to 3 factories, equipped with 348 CNC machines, and an advanced facility capable of producing 400,000 forged wheels annually. Over the past 20 years, we’ve grown alongside our customers.

Freeman First Client
Our first overseas client came from the Czech Republic on November 8, 2004. At that time, our Czech customer was just a local store serving modified car enthusiasts. Over the past 20 years, we’ve grown alongside our customers, and today, we are the most well-known forged hub service provider in the Czech Republic. Next year, we will assist in the transportation of 5 CNC machines to better support our Eastern European customers with customized forged wheel design services. And so, our story continues.

Our major breakthrough in the North American market
In 2010, Freeman made its debut at the industry’s largest and most professional exhibition – MEGA SHOW. This event introduced our brand to a wider audience with a demand for forged wheels. Our continued participation in the exhibition allowed us to connect with many professional customers and deepen our understanding of forged wheels for performance cars.
One of our most notable clients is Fittipaldi, an American Automobile Hall of Fame member and three-time consecutive Formula 1 champion from 1972 to 1974. Fittipaldi established a brand under his name, dedicated to providing wheels for performance cars. Today, Fittipaldi is a household name in American racing and performance cars.
Over 13 years of collaboration, Freeman has designed, manufactured, and delivered more than 80,000 forged wheels to the North American market. We are now also providing professional forged wheels for pickup off-road vehicles.

Freeman has become a well-known forged wheel manufacturer in China
In 2015, with the support and trust of our many domestic and international customers, we became one of the top 20 wheel exporters in China. This success allowed us to expand into a larger production facility equipped with 55 CNC machines.
In 2022, Freeman was elected Vice President of the China Wheel Quality Association and took part in developing quality standards for forged wheels in China. This is an extraordinary honor for both our customers and our team.
Freeman next step in 2024
On June 18, 2024, Freeman’s new factory covering an area of 100,000 square meters has started construction, with the first phase expected to be operational by 2025.
For the past 20 years, Freeman has consistently focused on growing alongside our customers, always Customer first and providing the most valuable services. We owe our success to the trust and support of our customers, as we firmly believe that Freeman’s success is only possible through the success of our customers.
